Gillette Tuckaway & Wilkinson
Semogue 2011 LE boar 2
Palmolive
[Aqua Velva]
[Gucci Guilty asb]
Amouage Opus III
Multiple runs over the same area during the same pass - something that is a clear no-go in DE shaving. But the Tuckaway once again proved why it's my favorite (by far) DE razor. No signs of irritation whatsoever.
The Semogue gets better and better as it breaks in after shave, while the Aqua Velva continues to grow with me. The Gucci balm reinforces the statement that designer balms (Gucci, Hermes, Chanel) are really good - not too oily, but nonetheless rich and smooth.

Prep:Hot Shower
Scuttle:Dirty Bird Custom Double
Brush:TGN 23mm H.L. Thater
Strop:SRD PI Paddle
Cream:Al's Shaving Boheme
Razor: Geneva Cutlery Pyramid
After shave: Alt-Innsbrook
EDT: Creed “Original Vetiver”
Result: What a wonderful shave today. The Geneva effortlessly wiped away the whiskers and provided a wonderful and enjoyable shave. I'm a HUGE fan of “The Bomb” and today is not exception. The scent of the Boheme make the wife go all Googly eyed...wooo-hoooo!
Thanks Gents!

Finally! Prep: Hot Shower Scuttle: Robert Becker #9 Black Strop: Straight Razor Designs 3" Black Latigo 30/50 Razor: Thiers-Issard 6/8" Le Canadien Inclined Nose Black Horn Brush: Frank Shaving Richmond 28mm Silvertip Lather: Truefitt & Hill Lavender Shaving Cream Astringent: Alum & Life Brand Witch Hazel ASB: DR Harris Aftershave Milk Comments: After no straight shaving since Saturday, I was due. I felt a bit clumsy, but was soon back in the groove, though I cut my finger while inspecting some light staining on my razor! The shiny silver finish is discoloring on the back side of the tang, so I think I'm going to have to take some sort of action to better protect my razors. The shave felt good, though the T&H cream isn't my favourite, I guess that's what samples are for! All in all, a good shave. The Noob Chronicle will likely be updated tomorrow, as I have many more things to do before bed and an early morning. Until then, have fun, my SOTD Brothers!

Konstantinos,
Looks like you're settling OK in your new home (South Korea), although it looks like they've got you set in a hotel. Hope all is well...Great shave buddy
Glenn,
That's what I call a "tremendous" shave, every aspect of it. Tell me something though: What is the TGN Thater? Is that TGN knot in a Thater handle?
Beautifully done Jack. Love that Le Canadien my friend. Sorry about the cut in your finger...But, I've cut myself on the finger a few times inspecting some of my favorite blades...so, I know the feeling all too well.

Cheers,
Robert

I think what Confuse-us meant was'man with shoe brush, hair brush, floor brush and toilet bowl brush',not man with Shaving Brush.Man with shaving brushes are far better than what he said.
