    Thursday

Nice shave this morning with the Schulze Wiener Schaber; this razor is nice and sharp!

Two passes, WTG and XTG, with a little bit of ATG on the chin too. I don’t know if others do a full face XTG, but for me there are some spots it’s impossible, like the neck; which always gets just a WTG and a ATG. The chin, I find, benefits from a WTG, a XTG and THEN a ATG. I’m always learning...

I hadn’t used the Truefitt and Hill Trafalgar cream OR AS for a while (the cream is almost all gone), and I enjoyed both, I love the spicy, citrusy smell of the AS.

Gym again tonight, the strength and size is starting to come back after more than six months lay off...

    Razor: Schulze Wiener Schaber
    Pre Shave: Proraso
    Cream: Truefitt and Hill Trafalgar
    ASB: None
After Shave: Truefitt and Hill Trafalgar

    Weds, Dec 21
    Brush: Vie-Long Horse
    Soap/Creme: Cella
    Razor: Racer ( by lord)
    Blade: Rapira SS
    Pre: How towel
    Post: Witch Hazel
    Hair Groom: Gables creme-oil
Result: The more I use my horse with soft soaps, the more I like it. I tend to use my soft soaps "cream style" by putting an extra large blob in my bowl and lathering them that way, which works well in my hard, iron laden water. It takes a tiny bit more time than my boars, but a lot less elbow grease.. less of a whipping and more of a stirring. The racer razor, otoh really disappointed. I know that it is a "$5 dollar razor" so to speak, and it was... eh... okay, but somehow I still expected more. it just didn't work well for me, especially atg. I actually removed the blade and put it in a 40s Superspeed to finish off to be sure that it wasn't the blade (it wasn't). So, not a bad shave, and some good aspects, but the racer razor did not give me a good first impression, which is a shame, since it was the new addition. Perhaps I will like it better with another blade, however.

Firefox has a new update to their browser. Works really fast AND if you have a 64 bit system they have a 64 bit browser that is in test. Both are very fast and don't do some of the weird things Exploder does.
