Having only lived in TX for about 3 months now I'm still not used to hearing people tell me how cold 50 degree weather is. I mean back when I lived in CT I wouldn't put on a jacket till it was in the 40's and "winter" meant temps. in the teens and single didgets with the wind chill...oh well

Today's soft goods were at the request of SWMBO. It seems that she now has three favorite scents on me the old Bay Rums, Lime and now Xpec!

Results: Comfortably smooth in two passes and I know the wife likes how I smell. Wish I could get a sample of the EDT because if its not conistent with the other products I have It wouldn't be worth it. Especially when you consider how rediculously expensive it is.

    Good morning.

Today was my first shave with a Wade and Butcher wedge razor. I scored a 4/8 (I think) W&B wedge that has "you lather well, I'll shave you well" etched into the blade. Its a bit grungy, but I cleaned it up with some Autosolve and honed it as per the JaNorton tips from the past week or so.

    Razor:W&B wedge
    badger brush
    GF Trumper's Coconut SC
    Thayer's
    Aqua Velva Blue
    Nivea ASB
    L'Occitane Vetyver cologne

The wedge is VERY different from any other razor I have used. It's heavy for such a small blade, and the strangest part is the sound- or more precisely, the LACK of sound. I am used to the buttering toast sound of shaving with a full hollow razor, and this wedge makes almost no noise at all! very unsettling at first... But the shave was pretty nice.

Welcome, Luis. Great to see you here!
