    Tuesday

    JM Schmid & Son 6/8
    Men-U Boar brush
    Tabac soap
    Pinaud Clubman A/S

I hadn't used the JM Schmid in awhile. I had a great shave from from this nice half-hollow razor. It's not the prettiest razor I own, but it gives a great shave!

Morning gents. My son got a bit upset that I borrowed his rubber duckies yesterday and didn't photograph his razor (Gemstar custom w/acrylic blade) with them. So I figured it'd be a good excused to go back-to-back DD days and try out the Satinedge I just got of Rune via the classifieds. As a side note, shaving with a 4 year old brings a whole new deffinition to the term "wet shaving"

Prep: Hot Shower + Mugso Pre Shave Oil
    Brush: Vulfix 2236S
    Scuttle: SRD
    Suds: TOBS Rose + Glycerin
Blade: DD Satinedge 5/8 (Rune correct me if I'm wrong, haven't had a chance to remeasure)
    Post: Thayers Rose WH
ASB: Jack Black Post Shave Cooling Gel

Results: Great shave as I spents some quality time with my son. He had a field day (again). Took me about 30 to clean the bathroom after though. The Satinedge is in great shape and will fit nicely in my collection of DDs. Rune put a really nice edge on it. Unfortuneatly, I had to spend a bit more time supervising my son so I'll have to run the razor through it paces next time.

    Tuesday 1/10/11

    Kinfolks 5/8
    Semogue 830
    Tabac ss
    Thayers Lemon WH
    Speick a/s
    Trumpers Limes skin food
    Tabac Edc

Two day growth reduced with three passes yielding a BBS shave. The Kinfolks is easy to handle and very sharp which works well with the great Tabac lather. And today will be better than yesterday.

Glad you liked the razor Andrew, it's really something to shave with the kids huh? I love it when my son joins, and so does he, I just hope he keeps the interest when grows up and start to shave for real

I sure hope so Rune. I think I have about 45 or so razors in my collection to date. Nothing would make me happier than to pass them to my 2 sons, knowing they use them on a daily basis.
