Prep: Hot Shower / Barbasol Soak / Virgin Olive Oil Rubbed in both passes Razor: 9/16 Spike & 5/8 Cosmo Superior Silver Steel (both test shaves from fresh honing) Hones: 4/8k, N12k, 100 felt /100 Horsehide / 200 Chestnut & additional 100 Horsehide prior to shave Brush: 24mm Silvertip in Honey Locust Uber: Godrej LIme & Cella + 4 drops Glycerine (poor mans Uber!) AS: Pinaud Clubman Edc: Stetson Result: After a year of str8's I think I can report my first true BBS shave. I got such a good 3 pass shave today, I didn't need alum!! Just to feel some burn I splashed pinaud straight to the face post shave. It was an amazing shave. The combination of the Wedge to one side and the hollow to the other simply demonstrated that both razors are good to go and exactly as I love them! The wedge again was smoother and gave less feeback, but they removed stubble with equal glee! I did try to nick myself on the jawline, but I'm getting pretty good with the pressure and it didn't even draw blood. I'm getting pretty darn good and avoiding the cuts from bad angles. I again owe Roy a huge thanks for the Naniwa (and Glen of course! LOL).

My oldest blade, heavy but small, bit of a smile, fresh off the norton 8k stropping. Popped arm hair from the 8k.

No idea what all that means. I do like the new packaging, though (as seen at Proraso | Coming Soon). I'm guessing the label above is the soap?Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?
