    Palm Sunday

When Jesus road on an ass from "The Mount of Olives" and the people laid Palm Branches o the road in front of him

Really there can be only one soap today

Razor, same old ugly German razor which I have been testing AJ's stones on
    Brush, Simpson 57
Soap, Palmolive (grated into a ramekin)
    Post, Alum the Pashana Original

Today the razor was honed on the Possible Cutlers Green, I don't like the name as nobody knows what the Cutlers Green actually looked like so I've nicknamed it the Cambrian Green as thats where AJ says they are from.

As it stands the edge on 1st usage wasn't quite as keen as from the green stone from the Tri Hone set, but it was a very smooth mellow edge more akin to my coticule than my Naniwa 12k A great shave and I think the stone has more to yield with practise.
    Regards
    Nic

Razor – French frameback, James H. Flagg
    Brush – Semouge badger
    Soap – GFT Limes
    Ast – ALUM
ASB – GFT Limes Skin Food
    AS – Penhaligons BB
    Good day to all,
I went with the little French frameback this day. A few passes on the Vosigene stone and away we go. This is a light nimble little minx. Great shaver too from 1899 turn of the century. Have a wonderful week.

    No shave for me tonight.
I usually never miss a Sunday shave and post, but tonight I got a little distracted with my first ever attempt at hollow grinding.

    Default Sunday Noon

After doing some chores around the house and garden, a warm shower and a shave was real good

Today I went with a Toyo Special razor in Swedish Supersteel. Floris was the choice for soap and Edt, while Captain Smith's Island spice Bay Rum finished the shave off with his wonderful aroma.

    Have a great week/Easter Gentlemen!
