Thanked: 17April Fool
I've had a busy morning... I finally got around to looking closer at a bunch of razors I picked up for about $25. Turned out two of them were in pretty good shape and only needed a quick polishing and a cleaning before hitting the hones with the rest of the touch ups that I decided I needed to get done.
After some quality time on the 8000/4000 Norton, 10 passes on the pressed felt CrOx, 20 on felt and 40 on leather it was shave time.
Prep: hot shower
Soap: Razorock lemon
Razor: Union Cutlery Spike 4/8 wedge
Post: styptic, razorock alum, thayers lemon and a splash of Dominican BayRum
I am not sure I have the edge right... then again this was my first crack at a wedge and I seem to have a little trouble with the smaller blades when it comes to shaving.
Mostly a close shave, in a couple spots a little too close. The narrow blade and wedge will take some getting used to.
Next up will be the 92 Norton (Solingen) that was also in the lot. Needless if these were the only 2 of the bunch that end up being shavers I think it was money well spent.

Monday Morning
I've decided to take the whole Easter-week off from work.
Time for some quality time with the family
A bit cold here today, but lovely weather all the same.
This mornings shave turned out great.
The Toyo Scheon Burg #666 is a wonderful little shaver and it takes a rather keen edge.
Todays software was all Boellis. Soap, ASB and EdT. The Panama 1924 scent sits well with me
Bjoernar
Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

Thanked: 485Monday
Nice, close shave with the Schulze. This is an excellent razor for ATG under the chin. The small dollop of Top Secret shave cream made loads of lather.
A start to an interesting week, off to hospital tomorrow with Bailey, then back to work for a day, then off to hospital with him again on Thursday, then Easter and a week’s holidays. Looking forward to the break and the weather is incredibly warm for Autumn, 31 today!

Oh, I like this stuff. Walmart for just over $5. No lathering capability whatsoever, but whipped up with a dollop of Barbasol... Great lather that feels really good.

Soap: Tabac
Brush: Comoy Badger
Razor: Puma
Toner: Thayer's Cucumber Witch Hazel
Balm: Nivea Replenishing
A/S: Wahl Bay Rum
This was the shave that was supposed to happen last night, and after an exhausting day at work I was really looking forward to a shower and shave tonight.
Must have been 4-5 days growth, but the Puma handled it well.

Thanked: 146Will Try to Shave with Anything!!!
Prep: Hot Shower/ Proraso pre-post creme
Brush: Thater 4125-2
Scuttle: G5
Soap: Da Fat!
Razor: W&B, 13/16" Hollow ground
Post: Proraso AS/ Nivea Lotion
Result: No shave yesterday and I was really busy over the weekend so did not visit the forums until this morning. Logged in and got a PM from Mike at Mikes Natural Soaps and he very nicely informed me that I was trying to use the Lemongrass/Eucalyptus Bath Soap as a SHAVE SOAP!!! No wonder the Orange/Cedarwood/Black Pepper lathered so much better! I still love the lemongrass scent though...I just thought that was too funny and wanted to clear things up. Mike makes a great product if used properly.
