Soap: Proraso
Razor: ERN 1166 Crown & Sword 6/8
Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel
Balm: Nivea Replenishing
A/S: Wahl Bay Rum
I felt the C&S tugging a little when I shaved with it last week and under the microscope found a few microchips.
So it went back to the BBW with slurry diluting to water followed by the Coticule with water.
A beautiful 3 pass BBS shave was my reward. I'll give it a few laps on the Thuri tonight, but I just wanted to feel the Coti edge.
Thanks for the great posts and pics boys, some awesome razors on display already this week

Today's rushed shave:
Razor: Gillette Adjustable DE '67
Blade: Shark Super Chrome
Lather: Edge gel foam
Prep: Hot shower
As cheap a shave as I have had in over a year!! Good thing I have a bunch of Shark blades that I love! I shaved pretty late in the day yesterday and kind of had to do a 'reset' and I didn't want to not shave, so I shaved early so I could shave like regular tomorrow. It was an ok shave. Got bit in a couple of places, I'm not used to using a DE anymore, maybe I had the adjustable up to high (I used to use it around 4, but maybe that is too aggressive for me). I'm kind of out of practice with the DE's and it was like learning the angles all over again!
Have a great Monday gents!

Thanked: 485Cool razor, Mikael. Do you know if these were made in a French or Spanish toe? I think one of these with a French toe would be really nice...
Snow! Shouldn't you be coming in to Spring?
Nice scales! How are they joined at the non pivot end? Or are they a single piece of wood? I'm not sure I've ever seen scales of a single piece of wood...Last edited by carlmaloschneider; 04-15-2012 at 10:53 AM.
