I fear that the US economy is only being bolstered up until November. We really may have the same problems and they are just being held at bay. We can only hope.

I got my package from Portugal today (thanks again Miguel and sorry for the confusion), so now I have an assortment of shave creams to try.

I can't say enough for my van der Hagen boar brush. Yes, the one from the Walmart kit for $8. It's broken in to be a big, floppy, lather bulding beast. It's so soft at this point that I bought a small stiff boar brush for my hard soaps. It's rediculous, in a good way.

    Default MWF first timer :)

Today I received my package from Lee's. I had to replace my 1305 after my friend dropped it and took a chunk out of the handle. I sent him home with that and he bought me a new one and a puck of MWF

I didnt use the 1305 as it still needs another wash before I put it to my face.

    Prep: hot shower
    Razor: C-Mon Cadillac 5/8
Strop: SRP premium II (35 webbing, 90 leather)
    Scuttle: SRP
    Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat
    Brush: Semogue Owners club boar
    Post: Alum
    AS: Lilac Vegetal

All I can say is HOLY CRAP...I mean there are many soaps I really like, but seriously? Result was phenomenally smooth shave with skin feeling soft and moisturized. I think I like the Fat

    Thursday

Yet ANOTHER day off work, this time to take Bailey to hospital to get his port changed. He wasn’t happy, but afterwards in the playground he was happier.

Anyway, this morning’s shave with the Burrell was great, except I found a dark spot on the blade. I’ll have to make sure I dry it better.

    Razor: Burrell Top Flight
    Pre-Shave: Proraso
    Soap: Proraso
    After Shave: Pinaud Clubman
