For those of you who dont know, in 2010 my son Jack was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
Today, after 2 years and 2 months, he has finished his treatment, NO MORE CHEMO!!!
My wife put together a party this afternoon and even had a trophy engraved for him to mark the occasion.
I cant tell you how good this feels for my wife and I
I started participating in SOTD when we were living away from home while Jack was receiving the intensive phase of the Chemo.
The SOTD forum and the Brothers have been a huge factor in helping me cope with the last 2 years.
A lot of you guys have been sending us thoughts and prayers the whole time and have watched Jack grow up here. He is such a cool little guy. I've never met anyone so tough and brave.
So thank you all for the support.
Great News about your son!!!!

Thanked: 146Thursday
Prep: Hot Shower/Noxema
Scuttle:G5
Brush: Thater 4125-2
Soap: Cade/ Salter French Vetiver/ Glycerin Uber
Razor: J.H. Becker 11/16" Spike Point
Post: Proraso AS/ Nivea Lotion unscented
Result: The Bloody Battle resumes and this skirmish once again goes the the spike pointed razor! What a great shave other than the nick on my earlobe or the one on the piece of skin in between my nostrils. This razor is unmerciful! But the Uber with the cade juniper scent and the vetiver was unrivaled as well as the performance.
Have a Great Thursday Gents!

05-10-2012, 11:11 AM #137Prep: Hot shower
Brush: Simspon
Razor: Wade and Butcher, for barbers use
Soap: Cassi Tea Three and Lavender
AS: Proraso
Strops: Neil Miller
Result: Very, very clean
I tested a soft soap today (cheers Lisa) and it was a pleasant surprise, slick as few (right up there with the best) and I like the scent as well, strong and good Tea Three scent, I would have liked strong hints of spicy lavender too, but you can't have it all (or my nose has failed me, wouldn't surprise me,if that was case). I think the skin feels a little better than usual too...
