    Wednesday

I’ll try to behave myself today and not post outrageous comments.

The shave with the Klas Törnblom was excellent; another very smooth very close shave. I forgot to try (Moonbeam’s idea of starting with an ATG pass. Thinking about it on the way home, I considered WHY we start with a WTG, then a XTG and then a ATG (though I just do the first and last). And why starting with a ATG can cause irritation for some. I thought first that, really, there’s no reason that we CAN’T do just a ATG; after all, it works AFTER a WTG, it’s the same razor, same hair. Then I thought about how the hairs may lay, flat to the face. I figured the longer the hair is, maybe the easier it is for the razor to sort of get stuck UNDER the hair. A shorter hair will be more likely to stand up rather than lay flat. Food for thought; what do you guys think?

The picture features my ‘re-purposed’ Swiss ration bag from WWII. I just saw it hanging there and decided it’d make a good prop.

Rather annoyed to learn today that I may have to go back to the other prison I was working at before moving to the one I’m currently at (been there at the Women’s prison for nearly three years now). The other one’s OK, but I’d rather work with female offenders than male offenders. I think female offenders appreciate a male Education Coordinator who is mindful of the abuse they have often suffered and who models ‘good’ behaviour.

Took this one for a tune up on the Naniwa 12k, life is good. I am sure you guys can relate that the more you hone the better you get. So when you take one to the hones after an extended use, the quality of the edge compared to the last honing is remarkably better! Chasing perfection...BBS and off to work!
    Have a Great Wednesday Gents!
