Re: Sun September 09th - Sat September 15th
... Discovered my Thiers Issard need to go to the pasted strop a few more times, a little tugging, ended up going back to my Dorko. Topped it off with Clubman Original and a Hobgoblin beer.[/QUOTE]
Hobgoblin... Now your talking!!!! A very fine beer!

Album: Kid A by Radiohead
Results: Not a perfect shave, but it was enjoyable. Loved Radiohead whirling in the background as I sliced through the one day old stubble. Motion Picture Soundtrack was winding down the album as I was finishing the shave. There was some irritation. I am still experimenting with the 'one stone hone' until I get the Norton 4k/8k back. The Madras is acceptable at its job or I do an acceptable job with it-not sure which one yet...

09-10-2012, 07:01 PM #97Razors: Chiron "Microsori" 8/8, Mulcuto Gold 4/8
Brush: Jade handled boar
Soap: Omega
AS: Thayers Rose followed by Brut
Cologne: Brut
Result: I hadn't shaved for a few days and decided to take the microtome for a spin. Had an extremely close shave with the first pass but needed a little touch up. Unfortunately my arms were tired from using the microtome so I pulled out the Mulcuto to do the touch up. Talk about going from one extreme to the other. I think the picture pretty much says it all.

Nice to see your using the legacy razor. I only wish I could have one.
But for upcoming shaves I do have a surprise razor in the rotation for this week. It will most likely be my Saturday shave as Wednesday is before class (which I have an exam) and office hours. Along with that I just got T&H 1805 in so I will be trying that this week also.Shaving with facial hair is like a golfcourse. It's a challenge of rough and fairways. You are the skilled greenskeeper of your face?
