Sunday
Razor: Thiers Issard 5/8|Cream: Proraso Green|Aftershave: Clubman Original
Picked up some Proraso Cream today and had to give it a try. I like it, it has a cooling menthol effect and a minty tea kind of scent. Very pleasant to shave with. Discovered my Thiers Issard need to go to the pasted strop a few more times, a little tugging, ended up going back to my Dorko. Topped it off with Clubman Original and a Hobgoblin beer.

Prep: 25 mile bike ride, cool shower
Razor: Hart Steel 6/8
Cream: C.O. Bigelow
Brush: AOS fine badger
A/S: Floid Blue
Comments: I was in a rush to get ready to attend church with my wife when I got home from the 25 mile ride. I rode pretty hard here in our foothills of the Sierras, so I was pretty hot and no time to cool down. So I took a cool shower and chose to give a cold shave a go with the always cooling C.O. Bigelow. Gotta say I am not a fan. I got a good shave, and it helped me feel cool, and I now know a cold shave on a hot day is possible with a sraight, but I'll stick with hot water. I did notice the lather sucked.
No time for a picture, so you'll have to see this one with your mind's eye. I now return to the 49'er/Packers game. Good Sunday to you all.Last edited by IamSt8ght; 09-09-2012 at 10:26 PM.
