Happy Belated Anniversary Robert and Liza! (She doesn't get the 'tough girl' award until after she has put up with you 20 years!...lol) Seriously though, congratulations on your milestone and all the best to you both!

That is perfect Bill! Pairing the cufflinks with the scent of the soap! I thought you had been into photography for a while now. My question is, how do you follow up on some of the fantastic pics you have already posted? You have set the bar pretty high.

    Prep: Hot Shower
    Razor: Lecran Cutlery
    Brush: VDH Boar
    Soap: Clearly Natural Honeysuckle
    AS: Dickinson's Witch Hazel
Finish: Nitro EdT (a Hugo Boss knock-off)
Results: Not much to cut this morning after a late afternoon shave yesterday. The quick one pass was more than adequate.

Thanks, Scookum. The lens is a 24-70 f/2.8. I picked it up on the recommendation of eTom and a few others. It quickly became my go to lens. It proved to me what a difference good glass makes, and I'm very happy I splurged on it!

Thanks, Joe. My wife actually wanted me to wear a rose based cologne as well to really make the pairing, but I just couldn't resist the Knize because I hadn't worn it in a while. But I may wear these later this week with a suit, and can break out the rose cologne then. Maybe I'll even pair it with my rose/sandalwood Bomb that day!

As for following up other SOTDs, I just keep trying to develop some consistency because these random nuts I've been finding like a blind squirrel can't support me forever!

Yeah that's a nice lens. I've got the 17-55 dx 2.8 which is on my camera most of the time. I've considered upgrading bodies but I really know my D200 and I've got some dx glass that I would have to replace. It would be an expensive venture.
