Another small "pocket razor" for the gentleman on the go! It gave a surprisingly good shave but it was a little interesting, trying to hold it between the thumb and forefinger. It is open comb and cuts very close, No blood; no problems!
The fun of trying things makes the day go a bit better and quicker!

Picture:Razor+blade: Merkur 37G+Elios (3) Brush: Kimson silvertip blond horn lather: Cyril R. Salter "Wild Rose" AS: Dr. Harris "Pink" aftershave EdP: Les parfums de Rosine "Rose d'homme" Comments: My aim today is to get the lazy man's lather,....then I chose a big 28 mm silvertip and an easy shaving cream without taking care of the quantity,....and it's done, lather for 3 faces,....Furthermore with a rose scent, but not fresh rose petals, Cyril R. Salter's "Wild Rose" is not wild, it's a domesticated, dead and dried rose scented shaving cream. But fortunately the Dr. Harris "Pink" it is, the true rose scent is present, but it last for minutes, or seconds....but nice seconds indeed. Finally a rose cologne, not a fresh rose scent that could be girlie but a well known rose "blend" with leather and wood, classy, deep, in the way of Guerlain's "Habit Rouge" or Rochas's "Globe" , not for wearing flip-flops and shorts

Razor: Wosty Pipe, 5/8
Soap: RazoRock La Famiglia, Don Marco
Brush: AOS Fine Badger
A/S: Thayer's Rose W/H, Floid Blue
Result: This razor was a Father's Day gift from my 16 year old son, so I was determined to get it shave ready. It took a while, and a lot of patience. It is now a fine and serious shaver, incredible really. This razor has exceeded my expectations. I may never know who made the scales. They are somewhat funky, but I really like them. My son watched my first shave with this razor, and that got him interested in using a straight. He shaves maybe twice a week, although we are noticing his facial hair (can't call it a beard yet) is getting thicker and is spreading. One of these Saturdays I will get him started. Good day gents!

Stropped on my Latigo, this is now going on Week # 2 of my one month with one razor trial. There is no signs of my razor getting dull, still as sharp as ever and shaves great.

Celestino, we are happy to see you posting here on SRP. This site is open minded to all shaving gear! Heck, I've even seen someone posting a disposable bic shaver on our SOTD!
