    Pre-Shave: Hot shower
    Brush: SRP Thäter
    Razor: Wade & Butcher "Zephyr"
Strop: 40/60 Neil Miller Linen/Kanayama Cordovan
    Soap: Sir Irisch Moos
    After shave: Sir Irisch Moos
Notes: This was actually yesterday's shave, but Photoshop decided that my new camera wasn't supported by the Camera Raw version I had and refused to process my pic and I hadn't time to start updating, so a little late posting (It was almost today when I shaved so I hope it's okay ) As expected with this combination the shave was heavenly

    Have a great sunday!

    Sunday Shave

    Razor: Nagamasa Kamisori
    Strop: SRD Black Latigo
    Brush: Semogue SOC
    Soap: DRH Marlborough
    AS: DRH Marlborough
    ASB: Trumer's Fragrance Free
    Cologne: DRH Marlborough

Starting my second year of straight shaving with a really nice setup. DRH makes a killer soap and I love, love, love the scent of Marlborough (though SWMBO has her favourites, this one is mine). The Nagamasa is a tamahagane blade and it shaves amazingly. It might just be the best shaver I own, in fact, though you do have to watch it and pay extra attention or it will remind you of just how sharp it is!

In Canada, our Thanksgiving is tomorrow and we are off to a Thanksgiving lunch this afternoon with the family, including my 89-year-old grandmother. It will be nice to have four generations around the table. Happy Thanksgiving to my SOTD Brothers.

Yeah. I love when computer programs act funny. I tend to do my editing with Corel.

Shaving with facial hair is like a golfcourse. It's a challenge of rough and fairways. You are the skilled greenskeeper of your face?

    SUNDAY

    Hot shower prep
    Razor: Lecoulter au sentier
    Soap: Omega
    Mug: face lathered
Brush: home made silvertip 24mm TGN knot
    Aftershock: none
    Splash: Ultra Black.. pour homme

A very close shave furnished by the latest in my quest for a "REAL" Lecoulter. The blades clean up and hone readily and will offer a very smooth and close shave. I thought I would again try the Omega, which to date had left me quite underwhelmed. Today, whipped a bit thin and face lathered, it did just fine. The splash was a find for a dollah! and I kinda like it though I am unable to categorize the scent.

I have been looking for a "REAL" Lecoulter razor. I found this one in a Le Lecoulter box, with blades, and no logo stamp. Maybe a workman's second, purchased from a batch that went through all the processes without a stamp? I don't know and shall keep on looking; now I have five "not quites!"

The fun of trying things makes the day go a bit better and quicker!
May you all have a great week of personal achievement and great shaves!

I'm really liking that razor, I haven't seen one yet with the etching on the scales.

No shave today, but I have emerged from my trip to New York City...
