Thanked: 485Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

Thanked: 1185Prep: Long Hot Shower
Razor: 1908 Gillette Single Ring Old Style
Brush: VDH Boar
Soap: Arko Shavestick
AS: Dickinson's Witch Hazel
Finish: Pierre Cardin
Results: The edge on the Helje for yesterday's shave must have been outstanding. I barely had anything to even touch up this morning. Truth be told I could have skipped the morning shave and been plenty presentable for work but being a creature of habit, I gave it one quick touch up pass and called it good

I neglected to post my shave yesterday.
Warm Shower, Stephan's rubbed into the whiskers.
MWF soap.
Boar Brush.
1959 Gillette Fat Boy, Wilkinson blade.
Old Spice AS.
Shaved in the shower, face lathering until the MWF was thick and moist. Nice, close shave with the FB. I really enjoy shaving in the shower.
Enjoy the day

Just got this razor Friday and polished it up a bit and dialed it in on the hones. Grant gets the credit for making me want one of these great shavers...been wanting one of these ever since seeing the great pics of his. 10-15-2012, 11:30 AM #69Muhle Sea Buckthorn - Semogue 1520 - 5/8 Torrey - Dr. Harris Marlborough
This is the last shave with the Sea Buckthorn. I could probably squeeze out another shave from what's left but I've lots of other stuff I want to work my way through. I will probably buy it again at some point.Keith

Thanks! That's actually my bedroom. The chairs were restored by Jeff Kimble in Atlanta (he's fantastic btw). The reclined chair is a 1905 and the other is a 1930. The child seat on the 1930 is actually the ORIGINAL child booster that came with the 1905. The backbar is a 1950 Koken that a friend and I plan to restore (new base, marble top, replace one piece of broken glass). My wife wants to put up two large mirrors and then hang my "David's Barber Shop" sign in the center (a gift from a very special patient). She's being a great sport letting me decorate our bedroom this way.
