10-25-2012, 09:58 AM #112Palmolive - Semogue 1520 - Henkotsu Kamisori - Dr. Harris Marlborough
A combination today that I really like. I reckon this set up will be used as long as the Palmolive stick and Marlborough are in production. It's an old picture but I can't be bothered to take a new picture for it.Keith

Thanked: 1185Prep: Hot water wash with Clearly Natural Soap
Razor: Imperial Extra Hollow Ground
Brush: Omega Boar
Soap: Arko Shavestick
AS: Thayers Lavender Witch Hazel
Finish: Agua Lavanda Puig
Found the Thayers at GNC yesterday and had to see if it was up to the hype. Good stuff but for the money, I'd expect no less. Don't know if it's $10 a bottle good I guess time will tell. What next? One of them fancy BADGER brushes? Geez, I'm turning into a damn shave yuppy
The older I get, the better I was

Thanked: 247Wow what a terrible photo this is...the vanity is dirty, the photo is out of focus...oh well, it is REAL and half of the time I lack focus anyway
Last night I took my time and did the full three passes. Did a lot of sculpting and trimming around the goat...getting ready for Halloween (I am going to really need to test my sculpting skills for that night). Anyway, the result was one of those top 5 shaves. That is what it is all about for me at this point in my straight shaving career (I am young in that regard)
I am hoping future photos have more burl

THURSDAY
Hot shower prep
Razor: OLD SPICE Twin Blade
Blade: Personna
Soap: Williams
Mug: Bugs Bunny
Brush: VDH
Aftershock: None
Splash: Barbasol
I forgot how poorly some of these cheap blades shave. Must have been around in my drawer too long! A simple shave and I did get close without blood. With a good blade, the handle and fixin's would give a very nice quick shave on a busy morning.
The fun of trying things makes the day go a bit better and quicker!
