    Prep: Hot shower
    Brush: M&F blond two band
    Razor: 133 Imp by Morris
    AS: Lavanda
    Strops: Neil Miller
    Result: Very, very clean

I don't shave that often with this lovely square pointed Imp ... and I can't understand why, it's a really good shaver?

I always laugh, when I see a "Red Point" razor. Why? Because, years ago (1980s), there was a porn shop right next to the Central Bus Station in Tel-Aviv, which went by the name of "Red Point". I had no idea they also carried shaving gear! Who knew?

    Razor: 9/16ths Genco
    Soap: Arco stick; face lathered
    Mug: none
    Brush: generic black badger

Used according to instructions; the Arco stick is wonderful and makes a great lather on the face. The shave was smooth and close in one..overslept, hadda leave! BBS, no... DfS,yes.

My Anton Wingen JR Red-point is one of my finest shavers! Picked up a NOS specimen for $28 at a local antique shop!

Haha, I'm probably going to start making that connection now whenever I reach for this particular razor.

Last night I had a great shave. Details are inconsequential...it's all about the journey

    Prep: Hot Shower
    Razor: '56 Gillette Tech
    Cream: Barbasol
    A/S: Pinaud

Result: Wow, this was a first for me. I thought I'd never get or use a safety razor. Well, I picked one up, mostly out of curiosity, and used it this morning. This razor looks brand new, although I don't know that it is since it was made in 1956. It was strange. I have been shaving almost daily with only straights for nearly a year, so this was really different. I'll have to try a few more times to see how I really like it, if at all. Anyway, good clean shave, some areas feel a little raw-probably too much pressure.

Our master bathroom is out of commission for the moment, so I'm using the "main" bathroom, so I have been reaching for the can of Barbasol under the counter. Not bad. Did well with a straight yesterday, but looking forward to getting back to our master bathroom.
