Shaving with facial hair is like a golfcourse. It's a challenge of rough and fairways. You are the skilled greenskeeper of your face?

Through the glass containing your favourite tipple but held at a tilt so most of the drink is at the bottom of the frame???

    * Great guess, gents! It was a shot glass. Hee hee. Not crystal and no drink in it. The items were placed behind it and i adjusted my angle with the camera. Hee hee.
    Enjoy your day, everyone.

    CHRISTMAS EVE
    Hot shower prep
    Soap: Rose of Bulgaria
    Mug: Soup Cup
    Brush: Hess #5
    Razor: Solingen
    Aftershock: alum block
    Splash: HESS “Rose Face Lotion”

Today: A rosy dawn and bright. The Shave: Excellent! The”ROSE” cream is the most lather I have found anywhere! A drop the size of a Q-Tip is plenty for a four pass shave...should you so wish!
The fun of trying things makes the day go a bit better and quicker!

My dad passed away last Friday evening in the presence of my mom, my sisters and me. It was tough to let him go, but at the same time good to prevent him from any further suffering. I'm going to miss him very much. He always was there for us and gave us good advice in life. Born in the very late 30's he never owned a straight nor had ever shaved with one. His first was a DE from the mid-50's. He finished with some Gillette thing with 3 blades.
I couldn't think of any better blade than the v.d. Sanden for my first shave after this. A great shave to honour one of the strongest men in my life. Both in willpower and in mindset. Dad, I'm genuinely going to miss you.
I am very sorry for your loss. Godspeed to you and your family.

Gentlemen, thank you all for your kind words. It helps in these days of trouble.
Tonight we celebrated "Wigilia"; the Polish evening right before Christmas day with my (Polish) wife and my three daughters.
It was a moving event this time and still... the warmth could be felt all through.
I take that as a good sign. I cherish family life and I try to give that feeling to my kids.
To all of you, a very warm and loving Christmas and to those of other faiths and beliefs: enjoy the dark days to light some lights and spend valuable time with the ones that you love. The shortest day has gone, the light returns.
