There is always a solution, whether it's already present or if you have to make it.

A lovely shave this morning albeit a little hurried as I was head chef and after preparing dinner things time was a little tighter than planned. Family arrived 5 minutes early just as I was finishing getting dressed. Its been a lovely family day and now our visitors have left, so calm is restored.Regards

Location: Pearl Harbor, Hawaii
Prep: Hot shower
Brush: Haryali London Silvertip
Razor: Wapienica
Soap/Cream: Truefitt & Hill Sandalwood (sample)
AS: Trufitt & Hill Sandalwood balm (sample)
strop: SRD 2" black latigo/nylon
Result: BBS but had to work it...
This Wapienica still pulls a bit, but I believe my technique hit a new milestone today. Very light/no pressure, and even less angle allowed me to go for more touch-up passes than just the WTG/ATG two-pass method that I've been using. This razor doesn't shave as close, but the shave itself was overall less stinging afterward. The T&F Sandalwood is a nice scent; understated as most of these seem to be to my formal-redneck Old Spice/Aqua Velva upbringing. Post-shave conditioning included a wind-buffeting ride to work on empty streets this XMAS morning. Standing duty here aboard USS TEXAS today; somebody's gotta do it.
