Prep: Splash of hot water
Scuttle: SWK
Brush: Thater 22mm 2-band fan
Cream: TOBS Jermyn Street
Razor: Herder 6/8" full hollow, "Friday" blade
Astringent: Osma Alum
Aftershave: Speick
Notes: Great shave today, quite easy and smooth. A little sting as I do find full hollows slightly more challenging still.
Spent a few hours the night before cleaning and polishing the razor before honing her up. Very thin grind and stiff, able to get very keen.

Thanked: 3Good morning y'all! Sorry, no pic today. It's rodeo time in South Texas, and as I was enjoying my shave, the wife and I were talking about going to the rodeo and stock show tonight when I gave myself a "chingaso" (South Texanism...trust me, it sucks) on the space beneath my bottom lip. So, as I sulked and applied the styptic pencil, I defiantly forsake the SOTD pic. But, I am BBS...just with a chingaso underneath my bottom lip which looks like a scabby soul patch.
prep - hot shower
strop - Rup Razor
soap - Bath House, Spanish Fig and Nutmeg
brush - Vie Long, JL Petree LE, 2 band
razor - Powell custom 8/8, crabapple scales
post - cold water, styptic pencil, alum, styptic pencil, Kiehl's lotion, styptic pencil
EDT - Creed, GIT
Have a great day!Oscar

I have one; and, as you say, it shaves delightfully. The name means SPRING. A fitting name for a razor. Mine was in horrible condition but well returned that effort of renewing and honing almost a half mm off to get to good steel!
Enjoy it Ruskies are good steel even if not very pretty!

Hot shower prep
Razor: Winfield “The Improved Eagle Razor”
Soap: Nivea shave cream
Mug: Soup cup
Brush: re-knot generic mixed badger
Aftershock: Alum block
Splash: Avon
The Day: partly cloudy and snow since midnight -4ºC. The shave: Better than yesterday! Nivea, hot towel, wash, lather again, hot towel, lather, shave, close in three. I call that a win!
The fun of trying things makes the day go a bit better and quicker!
