    TUESDAY
    Hot shower prep
Razor: renewed and rescaled DD Satinedge
    Soap: Vintage Williams
    Mug: Toby shave scuttle
    Brush: Rubberset Horsehair
    Aftershock: Styptic Pencil
    Splash: none

The Day: Bright and melting; up to 4ºC. The Shave: First DD shave. It seems to be all they are quacked up to be! Needs to be tweaked; still, in all, a good shave in two and an earlobe! That's a new one for me!
Vintage Williams is a great if over-hyped soap. It does the job and protects the face.
The fun of trying things makes the day go a bit better and quicker!

...they've been setting on the counter for awhile (and there's so many left )..I don't know what to do with them. I don't really want to throw them away. They work, if a little cheesy.

    Todays facial mowing armoury...

    Brush - Men-U bristle
    Cream - Palmolive green tube
    Razor - Cheap unbranded shavette
    Blade - Tesco/Personna
Post-shave - Cold water, alum block
    Balm - Nivea sensitive

Finish - Not quite as awesome as with a DE, but I'm putting this down to a lack of experience with a shavette.

    Hot shower Prep
Murrays Wool Fat soap -very silky and slick
    Vulfix Super badger 2233
Bengall- 2 passes, utterly effortless shaver!
Poraiso face cream for after shave care

NOTE: this was my first ever shave with a Bengall and personally the best shave over my Boker, Dennert or W&B. Found the razor in an opshop in Temuka New Zealand. The blade is etched "Made expressly for F.A Harrison Hairdresser Temuka NZ"
johnmrson had a look and advised he felt it was mint from the factory and never used.
