Sunday February 25, 2013
Pre: Hot Shower, Nivea Face Wash & Nivea Face Scrub (used as a pre-shave)
Soap: D. R. Harris Arlington
Brush: Vintage Boar Brush
Strop: 3" Loom Strop
Razor: George Wostenholm & Sons "Pipe" Razor (Max Sprecher Restored "Maxterpiece")
Astringent: Dickinson's Witch Hazel
AS: D. R. Harris Arlington
My wife purchased this brush for me a few months back. I finally got around to cleaning it a few weeks ago. I've always been hesitant to use a "used brush" but I've been reading the forums and gave it a "good wash." I've never used a boar brush before, and to be honest, I was VERY impressed. I have my daughters this weekend, and my youngest loves the scent of Arlington, so I felt obliged to use it this morning. Fantastic two pass shave, WTG & ATG -- BBS with minimal effort. Keep up the great pictures & posts. Have a great week my friends.

Thanked: 30Even without the straight this is all top shelf kit. Sorry to hear your body is malfunctioning. That's awful! Hope you work it out quickly. Maybe ice and ibuprofen for any swelling and inflamation. ...fish oil omega has anti-inflammitory properties and stinging nettle has helped keep my joints loose.
