Hot shower prep
Razor: Norvell-Shapleigh “Diamond Edge” ~1917 a relieved wedge
Soap: Rose of Bulgaria
Mug: English
Brush: vintage Austrian boar
Aftershock:
Splash: Rose by HESS
The day: overcast ~4ºC. The Shave: An outing for another blade from the shop. It will need tweaking but gave a good shve. The Rose from Bulgaria is a lather making treat!
The fun of trying things makes the day go a bit better and quicker!
~Richard
“Relieved Wedge” is the only way i can describe the razor grind with the Fuller on each side of the blade for lightness.

Hump day shave
Wednesday evening
Hot water prep
Joseph Rodgers & sons razor - Barbershop badger brush - Harris Lavender ss - cold water splash - Thayer's Rose witch hazel resplash - shower - AK 1869 AdC
The Rodgers also got a small touch-up on the Thuri. An amazing blade. Always a smooth shave. I experimented a bit today with lather thickness and re-lathering in between. Finally starting to get the hang of this soap. It likes water.
