    I’m back! After a brief detour back into DE shaving due to some crippling tendonitis, I was able to finally use a straight again. Today’s early morning, cloudy-eyed shave consisted of…..

    Prep: Hot shower
    Brush: Noble Silver tip badger
    Soap/cream: Castle and Forbes Cedar and Sandalwood
    Razor: JA Henkles #50 7/8
    A/S: Captains Choice Cat O’nine Tails, Ems balm
    Result: Completely BBS

    Strop - 3 Inch bridle leather/hard felt
    Razor - Malteser 4/8 rnd nose/stropped night before
    Brush - Omega 10066 Boar
    Soap - Vitos Red/cold water face lathered
    Post - Alum block followed with Thayers witch hazel
    AS - Aqua Velva Ice Blue

    The fun of trying things makes the day go a bit better and quicker! And the shave reminded me of why I like wet shaving from a mug!
