Thanked: 3Good morning y'all! Today's shave involved a new (to me) razor that I've read a bit about bit is still shrouded in mystery; the Imperial, size 14. It's great shaver and I could really hear the blade sing as it was mowing down stubble.
Prep - hot shower
Soap - TBS Maca Root cream
Brush - Vie Long, 2 band, JL Petree LE
Strop - Rup Razor Palladin
Razor - Imperial 14
Post - cold water, alum, Kiehl's lotion
EDP - Tom Ford Grey Vetiver
Have a great weekend!Oscar

Hot shower prep
Razor: "ELectric" faux frame back
Soap: Vintage Williams
Mug: face lathered
Brush: Col. Conk badger
Aftershock: none
Splash: Bay Rum
The Day: Glorious. The Shave: Close and clean. The razor still is sharp after a year or more. I read the the company was acquired and along with another company became PUMA.
The fun of trying things makes the day go a bit better and quicker

Aftershave: T&H Trafalgar
Well I just got my Livi in and I felt I must take it for a spin. It came delightfully shave ready. I may take it for a few laps on my old Welsh but I will give one more shave before I decide that. As some of you know I had no hot water so I really did not feel like shaving after a cold shower in the mornings. That got fixed the day the Livi came in. It cut through a week of beard like a dream and edged my beard fairly easy. It is immensely easier to shape a beard with this. I am very happy with my purchase even though I prefer wedgier grinds. I did a double pass with my Hart on my neck and my St. Pat's beard is coming in nicely. Trafalgar was a good choice. Have a date with the lady to see a ballet of Peter Pan and she really likes the scent of Trafalgar.
Shaving with facial hair is like a golfcourse. It's a challenge of rough and fairways. You are the skilled greenskeeper of your face?

Nice Shave! Worked it slow today with a one pass and clean up. For some reason I did a little clean up without water. Got a little burn but that did not deter the good vibes from the shave. All mellowed out now and good to go for another day in paradise.Last edited by Mephisto; 03-01-2013 at 10:29 PM.
