Thanked: 485Wednesday
Razor | J A Hellberg Frameback | Soap | Edwin Jagger Sea Buckthorn | After Shave | D. R. Harris Bay Rum
A bit of a boring shave this morning, I must admit I’m a bit less excited and obsessive about the whole thing than I used to be; not that it’s mundane, but I am less excited. It may be that my bad back that continues to plague me is bringing me down a bit…
Sorry for the boring photo, not really in the mood lately…

Thanked: 485Oh yeah? Ta. I really like using a dip pen these days, it's actually not inconvenient at all, and very easy to use (poorly, I'm no calligrapher).
Wouldn't it be really cool if one carried a dip pen in a little case (I've found a straight razor case works well) and a little bottle of ink, and next time one visited a store and had to sign an invoice or whatever, one took out one's dip pen and bottle of J. Herbin Café Des Iles?
I think it would. But then again I think it'd be cool to be reincarnated as Lord Byron...Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

Thanked: 146Proraso|G5|AOS Badger|Pannacrema|Burrell 13/16|Proraso AS|Iggy's BalmAnother fantastic shave from the Burrell. These are great shavers...maybe that's why I have another on the way! Almost out of the Pannacrema 'Casablanca' hope this will be available again, I really love the scent of this soap and the performance is top notch too. 3 passes and off to work feeling like a king!
