    Thursday

Razor | Burrell Top Flight Frameback | Überlather | Faulding ‘Shave’ cream/Edwin Jagger Sea Buckthorn | After Shave | D. R. Harris Bay Rum Hair Tonic | Pashana Bay Rum

I was feeling a lot more positive today. I decided to make an Überlather, which I haven’t made for ages. It wasn’t bad, the Faulding ‘Shave’ cream matched the Edwin Jagger soap well and a drop or three of glycerine made it nice and ‘bouncy’.

Talking of bouncy, I shunned all logical, sane advice and hit the gym at lunchtime today, but changed the workout around so it consisted of trisets of push-ups, leg work and chin ups. This is what I did:

(1 min between tri-sets, did three tri-sets, e.g. the 25, 25, 25 on the push-ups represents the three tri-sets. Push-ups are touching nose to floor, chin-ups are placing chin above bar or at least touching bar and all the way down to straight arms)

    Tri-set 1

    Push-ups 25, 25, 25
    Step-ups on box 1.5 minutes, 1.5 minutes, 1.5 minutes
    Wide Grip Chin-ups 8, 8, 8

    Tri-set 2

    Push-ups With Feet on Box 10, 10, 10
    Leg Press Machine 85 kilos x 20, 20, 20
    Under Hand Close Grip Chin-ups 8, 8, 8

    Tri-set 3

    Dips 6, 6, 6
    Leg Curls 40 x 10, 60 x 8, 8
    Medium Grip Chin-ups 5, 5, 5

I was pretty stuffed at the end of it, hence the drop off in reps. Quite happy with the work out, though.
I’ll swap the close grip underhand chin-ups with the medium grip ones (close grip underhand are easier, best left for the end).

My back is nigh-on cured, thanks for the positive encouragement, brothers…
