Great shave this morning! My first run at the Mikes Natural soap Vetiver, and it is fantastic in all respects. The luxurious lather coupled with Tabac AS left me smooth and smelling great!

This razor continues to amaze. A simple setup but a great shave to start a Friday with. Going Wilford Brimley on the stash today (wash it out and brush it out.)

Just because it's sharp, does not mean it's smooth.

I recently received this NOS Jowika stainless razor that I purchased off ebay for what I consider quite a deal. This is my first stainless razor, and to my great surprise, all I needed to make the razor shave ready was my chromium oxide pasted balsa followed by plain leather strop.

Prep: Hot shower & proraso green
    Cream: proraso red
    Brush: Rooney silvertip
    Razor: Jowika 8366 5/8 Inox
Aftershave: Dominica bay rum & emu oil

    Pre : Hot water
    Soap : Proraso green tub
    Brush : Progress Vulfix 404
Razor : Gillette superspeed flare tip
    Blade : Derby
Post : Cold water, alum block, Nivea moisturiser

    Finish : Smooth

    Comments:
The Proraso is definitely missing the slip that MWF gives. Perhaps some of their pre-post cream will help... perhaps some glycerine... hmm. I'm seriously loving that brush though.
