today was fishing , then nap time , then shave time ...lol...
temp was a steady 33-34 all night so i hit the stream at 8am in a quick blizzard that dumped about 2-3" of snow before it tapered off to a sleet mix .. i had one hook up on a nice fish then lost it .
from there it was a 2 hour hike back to the car with a few stops here and there in some holes that usually hold good fish ..
then it was to the couch where i snoozed for a few hours , and finally it was time to test the Clauss again after it was effective but kinda harsh of the coticule ... 25 linen & 75-100 on leather and in the bathroom i went !!
pre= nothing
soap= Bald Frog " Arabian Hooka"
brush= Simpson WEE-SCOTT
razor= Clauss 5/8
results= a smooth 2 pass ( WTG/XTG) , it felt real nice , i think the stropping kinda balanced things out and i was VERY happy with the way this thing shaved ...

Tuesday morning:
Dr. Harris Marlborough SS
Simpson Persian Jar 2
Guinard a Lyon 6/8
Speick AS
Bronnley English Fern EdT
In Infinitum: I have this razor there where it pleasantly shaves. It wasn't easy to sharpen. Always too aggressive. With the Awasedo Ohira and the Nakayama Awasedo it is a pleasure-shaver now.

Thanked: 485Tuesday
Razor | Jernbolaget | Cream | Musgo Real Orange Amber | After Shave | D. R. Harris Bay Rum
Really nice shave with the Jernbolaget this morning, again I did two passes. I did decide I need to be more careful trimming around the tips of my moustache; I have a tendency the trim the right hand tip shorter than the left, due to how I hold the razor.
The lunch time workout (three sets of three tri-sets) in thirty minutes left me feeling like vomiting, which I see as a good thing. What I also see as a good thing is I have one day left of work before I take off camping to Deep Creek.
Thanks for the photos and banter this week
