    PREP - Hot Shower
    SOAP - L'Occitane Cade
    BRUSH - Kimson
    RAZOR - GOLD BUG

Absolutely wonderful shave. Not sure if it was the keen edge on the BUG, the L'Occitane or a combination of both, it's the first time I've used L'Occitane and it lathers extremely well.

Oh my goodness look at those last few photos! Not that they're not all good but, well...

Mine's pretty middling today. Not a lot to say, either, as I said it all in another post in the Conversation thread. To be honest, I keep on getting distracted by the non-shaving related threads, which is a GOOD thing really. I may start frequenting the honing thread a bit soon as I have a wedge to hone and the putting-scales-on thread too. So much to do and so little time; I feel like the White Rabbit in Alice in Wonderland.

Very nice shave this morning with the J. A. Hellberg, but I made a really bad lather, I just wasn't in the mood. The razor stuttered all over my face, it was amazing that I didn't nick myself.

[EDIT] Actually. Come to think of it. That's a really nice jacket he's wearing. And I'm at the age where a cravat starts to come in handy. Also, I do like the idea of a pocket watch...

Haven't had a Friday shave for a while, and a quality shave was a great way to start a relaxing Friday night.
Everything worked well together, removing 5 days growth and leaving me feelin' smoooth.

    Jeff,
Glad you got a good shave in to help you relax. Hope your dad is doing better. You are fortunate to have the ability to go and help your mom care for him. Keep us posted.

    Prep: Shower
    Scuttle: Schwarzweisskeramik
    Brush: Semogue Boar OC Cherry
Razor: Joseph Rodgers 13/16" near wedge
Cream: St James of London Cedarwood & Clarysage
Aftershave: St James of London Cedarwood & Clarysage
Eau de Toilette: Penhaligon's English Fern

Notes: Good 2-pass BBS shave. Tweaked the bevel on coticules and finishers (Special Stone) the night before to get a decent edge.
