I have a battery driven DE that vibrates. I gave it a test shave. Gimmick for sure but I had to give it a try.
Same thing, a very heavy DE in the end

Another detail about the flare tips... US made razors the blue tip was very mild, non colored or standard was medium and red tip was the most aggressive of the flare tips. In the British made there were 3 different levels too except it was just the markings of I II or III on the diamond stamped bottom part of the plate. Hope that explains what I was saying earlier about the stamps as I have the II model.

By that definition an electric razor fits the bill.

Now there's an idea. We can have an electric shaver forum.

Guys can relate how they seen the light and switched to an electric and get the best shave of their lives and how the threw out all that honing and stropping and straight junk and brushes and soaps and they have all this extra room in their house and their wives are so happy that they......

We can help guys get rid of all their straight paraphernalia and have group buys of electrics and have a signature SRP pre electric scent.

Yes I can see it now, it will be glorious.

But, I'll leave you all with one question. What does Santa shave with?

I was trying to think of a way to show how that collins razor works and found this video that does a better job that I could.
