Absolutely on the money Tom, one of the reasons I haven't gotten into honing, I can maintain razors for months with little to no stone work. I only have a dozen or so razors now , so a couple sent off to the man to hone once a year or so and that's it Stropping is the key to great blade maintenance. Tc

I keep my razors and strops in the bathroom. My razors are in a leather case under the sink, the blades having mineral oil on them, and no rust issues. The strops hang on a hook in the wall beside the sink, and it's always been a good place for them too. I don't see any more fitting place than the bathroom to store shaving supplies.

I keep my in the spare bathroom which I have repo as my Shave Den. Since no one takes a shower there; I do not oil the blades, they are stored in shadow boxes one I build myself and had no problems with rust thus far all these many years. HOG

Nice as-used, with exception of some hanging strops utilized in the half-bath. Strops, used well, are the most important component in straight-shaving. Strops are where it's at, IMO!
Over the top setup Tom. I have heard that you can strop in your sleep !

TBH, I usually sit there for a half-cup of coffee before I begin!

As a long haul truck driver I shave in the truck stops at night. I carry my strops and razors in a shoulder bag and my 7 razors are in a leather roll up.

I've never seen others, but not a surprise. Most truck stops have private showers. Hard to know what others do.
