A kitty??!!! Now where would the fun in that be hmm? What do you think of the Kitty idea Ladies? I PM'd JohnnyJ as founder of the thread and had some additional input from him too, so I'm currently tweaking the razor position slightly.
I'm pleased you all seem to like the concept though, thank you.

Weeeeeeell. Think I'll log out so Spike can log in and fill you in. However I do NOT recommend use of an Alum Block down there.

If my beloved hadn't wriggled & writhed, it would have been flawless. I can not bring myself to use BBS.
To be honest, there were two tiny nicks (>1mm). One of them was my fault for not concentrating hard enough . The other wouldn't have happened with a shorter blade. Doubtless, as my straight-wielding improves, so will my CS. Alum should definitely be avoided in the ravine. What do I know? It feels good on my faceLast edited by Spike J; 06-20-2008 at 11:23 PM.

Ritual Shaving
Good Evening All,
I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself as this is my first post. I am a ritual shaver, many people have different ideas and reasons for shaving but for me it is sacred. The drawing of my bath allows me time to reflect as I tend to my shave supplies and prepare myself for a shave. I never quickly shave in the shower, as I use my ritual time to center and balance myself honoring my womenhood. The water washes away my stress, as the focus of the blade against my skin requires me to direct my attention on my body. The clean baby smooth shaves requires skill and attention to detail. I end my shave feeling clean, revived, and well just......... a little beautiful.
I have never met any other people that honor this process, until the divine Ms. Viola bought me a beautiful gift of a double edged razor. (and introduced me to this forum) I am sitting here having just completed my second shave and have a few questions, and difficulties:
1) Most notabley I feel a little scratched, and slightly irrated....although I am a pale redhead I haven't razor burn since my first few shaves as a teen.
2) My shave isn't baby smooth, I am very light and fine and can ususally get super smoothe even with a cheapie.
3) When I am shaving the folds of the tender flesh I can feel the pointed edges as I turn the blade...and it is a little scarey as I am quite attached.
Thank you in advance for your advice, be gentle with me
o.

Thanked: 131Olivia-
I dont feel I am experienced enough in any department here to offer any wisdom. Our only characteristic we share is our red hair. I wanted however to be the first to say hello and welcome to SRP. We are glad you found us.
Nice avatar btw
