I agree it is a very supportive family here in all aspects of shaving.

Allen, you could always try to entice your Lady by shaving your bits first!! Prove to her you won't lop your own off and maybe she'll change her mind. And if you do take the plunge and shave your own, you get the Gents badge.

Sno it will get better. The first day after is the most uncomfortable for me, by day 2 it's not so bad and you kinda get used to it too.

Besides which you shouldn't be trying the razor on your face and posting it here... this is the PCR thread... Be brave shave down stairs, and then let us know if your manhood is still intact, and how easily it shaved or sliced or whatever the case may be...

Prickly? Yes it can be! Closer the shave the longer they take to start. Just have to get the razor out again....

You're very lucky Sno that Cactus has the blade for the job! A shorter blade would enable a much closer shave. Practice may not make perfect. but it's a lot of fun. It's a very different method to face or leg scraping & I think much easier & better if your accomplice does it. JMHO

I'm fascinated by this shaving discussion. With all these coochies about, does anyone even bother to shave faces any more?

by far the worst part of my vasectomy was the growing out phase. i very much understand the 'burning like hades' sensation.

    cheers,

I don't even want to think about vasectomies. with mine the dog jumped up on my lap right after I got home
the Dr said they only have one or two a year that have issues where it has to be done in the hospital. Guess who was the one or two

The pricklies are...well, prickly. My GF & I haven't discovered any solution other than to keep her clean-shaved or let the hair grow out a bit. I don't know of any way to de-pricklify the pricklies.

I'm OK with a shave of my own!

I have a few nice blades, the Duck and my Spanish point Friodur come to mind for the better-half....

Perhaps something from Black-and-Decker and assisted by Briggs and Stratton would be more in order.....

I am proud to say I have shaved my wifes wisker biscuit quiet a few times with a straight. I have used my T.I. 6/8 with good results. My dovo 6/8 a couple of times
and my Ed wusthof 6/8. I do feel it would be better to use a 5/8 razor but the 6/8 was in the rotation at the time , but I will make it a point to use a 5/8 and do a report.
Using a warm good quality brush, good soap, is very enjoyable to her before the fun of shaving begins. Not to mention testing my work afterwords. Happy shaving to all.
    Be careful go slow
