I just have one question for you, what is the blade length? It looks like about 2" That is just about right.

I got a broke razor the other day...the lady from the junk store just gave it to me.
Its in pretty nice shape, except for half the blade is missing.
Seems to me it will make a nice CR!!!!!!

The length of the wedge is 2 and 2/8 (Total blade/tang/tail length 4 and 3/8). The width is actually 5/8, I guess the length played a visual trick.

    Sounds like a good candidate.

Requirements? I think I'll take a cue from Ataturk, the founder of modern Turkey, who, in response to the question "Who is a Turk?" supposedly replied "Whoever says, 'I am a Turk.'"

I finished my coochie razor!!!! I wedded a little blade from Klaus to some horn scales provided by Eastree. The scales were damaged at the butt-end, but I had to cut them down anyway so all was well. I made a wedge out of oak with a coping saw and a wood file. I don't know if anyone would call it beautiful, but it's functional!

    Pix to follow...

Not the greatest pic, but you get the idea. The little one is the coochie razor, obviously.
