I don't know about a coochie razor per se, but maybe that thing could be a coochie shavette!
Also, at the risk of doing this:, did everyone notice this thread has over 200 responses?

Okay, I couldn't resist...
I took a 3/8 Union cutlerey Wedge, and cut both the blade and scales down.
Here are the new measurements:
Total length closed 5 inches
Blade length is 2 inches
Blade width is still 3/8
Tang is 1 1/4 inches to the scales, so there is still plenty of room to hold the razor.
I was worried that the heat from cutting the blade down would make the steel too soft, but by taking it slow, and keeping a bucket of water next to my grinder, It worked out fine.

Welcome to the ranks of coochie razor owners Mike, yours looks great, so when are you going to try it out? Looks like we have quite the niche going.

Yep Xman it has taken a few turns and morphed a little but it's still going strong.

I have this Joseph Rodgers & Sons Wedge, I guess it's 3/8 or something (5/8 Wapi for reference). Looks like a tool for the deed

No I wouldn't call it one up-manship so to speak, I would call it maybe the beginning of the brotherhood of coochie razors BCR so to speak, I think it's time Johnny J for you to make the guidelines, and membership requirements, as I am going to credit you for starting it all. Whether that's a good thing or a bad thing I will let you decide but either way, I think from the response to this thread it's a wanted thing.
