Weekdays, no, since I'm shaving at 5:30AM and SWMBO does not get up until 6 or so. Weekends, absolutely!

Thanked: 459Silence. Too early in the morning for anyone else in the house, and the BR is right next to the bedrooms.

I used to shave while practicing my tap dancing but I stopped. It was getting risky.

I enjoy the merits of both. It just feels right to have some sort of classical music playing while shaving with a straight razor, but I find I'm just as relaxed in either case so sometimes it's nice just to listen to hair being massacred

Thanked: 983I listen to the music of wife screeching at children fighting...Although this morning I had the oldest daughter standing beside me asking me all sorts of questions on my shaving. Things like 'Why do you shave Daddy?' 'How does that thing (the razor) work?' 'Why do you put that white stuff on your face?' 'Can I smell the stuff (AS) in the bottles?' What do you do that for? (Stropping at the end of the shave). All up it was one of the most pleasurable shaves to date.

Thanked: 375Amos Lee or Jack Johnson here, music and a shave melt the stress away. It's also good for drowning out the sound of screaming kids, and Mom and for a few moments theirs some peace in my world...

There is a jazz radio called Swiss Jazz from Switserland, that with some good home-made espresso gives me quite a ride!

I keep meaning to get a small radio for the bathroom but haven't done it yet so I shave in silence. Plus I like to hear the stubble getting chopped.
