This, M-F. I turn the water off now and wipe spent lather silently on flannel.

Weekends, light music or the news - or anything MrMagnus selects.

First month or two, silence by reason of no distractions. I preferred to hear myself getting nicked.

Just the fan and the sound of the whiskers going to their doom.

I generally shave in silence but if the neighbors get too noisy then the stereo gets cranked.

I shave in silence. I even tried to use earplugs...absolute silence... but not hearing the whiskers being cut, made it a little weird.

I too have a few playlists. I would say 75% of the time I have with music... The rest of the time I like to enjoy the rhythm if popping whiskers.

    Oh, let's see:

The parrot whistling and singing, the wife nagging, the dog barking, the telly on some dumb sit-com, the kids running and screaming...
Other than that, I tend to prefer silence

Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

You have a parrot...that is so cool...I find birds fascinating...my wife is for some reason terrified of them. We used to have this great big Horned Owl that would sit at the top of one of the trees in our backyard....beautiful creature.

I still chuckle when I see the old video of the parrot who would whistle, "Always look on the Bright Side of Life" (from Monty Python), in accompaniment with his owner...don't parrots live an incredibly long time?

    Cheers!

He is a funny character that African Grey
His name is Viggo, and he talks and sings all kinds of stuff.
The first time my wife's boss came over for a dinner at our place, Viggo immediately greated him with "Hello fatso" sounding just like me.
That kinda broke the ice and we had a lovely evening

He is 21 years old now, and still going strong, so I guess we are stuck with each other.
Heck, he has outlived 5 dogs and two fiancees already...

Sorry for the off-topic to the op.
