Default Shave in silence, or with music/radio?

I was wondering if people mostly shaved with no distractions at all, even familiar music, or whether something is playing in the background? I'm only just starting, so I try to keep focused and don't listen to anything at the time, but I could see Miles Davis or Mozart working. Possibly not Metallica, though.

(Apologies if this is too off-topic for this forum.)

when i first started i didn't listen to music but as i got more shaves under my belt i started listening to tunes....either from my record player in the other room or my iphone placed on a shelf in the bathroom. im a music person, mix sound for theatre (mainly musicals), so i find it helps calms me and if/when i find i am paying more attention to that i either turn it off or stop take a few seconds then proceed, but that has rarely happend!

I vary. Usually silence but sometimes some Sinatra, etc.

Thanks for that, I should have thought to search first. Very interesting website in the first post there, I'll check that out. But I'll be shaving in silence for a while at least, until I feel I've got the hang of it.

I like to listen to some tunes while shaving, however I listen to whatever is on my Stone Temple Pilots station in Pandora.
