I have 39. A seven day sets of german 6/8" , a seven day set of wedges, of Russian blades and another of german 5/8" and another 11 strays of various size, age, design and grind. I love them all and pick what is going to be used that day at random. Very often I shave with two, one for the first pass and another for the second and cleanup.

    I have enough though)

I have 3 mix-matched 7 day sets so far. I like to have each set mixed with all sizes and grinds to change up each day. I am going to have to get rid of some razors cause I refuse to make a 4th right now. The longer I can hold off on having to make a 31 day set the longer I can wait for a 365 day set with a special razor for leap year. These are the pencil holders that I converted to make 7day rolls.

I have 6 ready to go at any one time because that is what my stand holds. I tend to use only one in repetition. I use to think that a rotation would be fun but have come to think that changing the variables doesn't give you enough good feedback to learn. For example i can't remember if todays shave is better than 7 days ago and if my stropping honing or technique is different. Don't tell me to take notes!

If I ever get a 7 day set my thoughts might change.

I have 10 razors in my rotation at the moment. With my newly found pleasure of honing up vintage beauties, there will likely be more to come.

One. I have two back-up razors which I rarely use. I prefer not to rotate. I can't possibly give 100% of my attention to more than one blade at a time. The whole rotation thing seems like a pain to me.

I've been using the same blade, strop, stone, and brush for several years now.

Glad you asked since I have been curious myself. I currently have 28, with more on the way. A mixed bag: Dovo, Boker, Torrey, Janice, Case,Geneva, Hart, an SRP logo, Wapi, a few swedish and Sheffield. So that none of them feel slighted, they live in cups. Each AM I blindly pick one out, shave with it, strop and oil the blade then replace it into a new, "receiving" cup. When a cup has been emptied of all razors, it becomes the new receiving cup so that everyone gets used once every 28 (or whatever) days. Always looking for new ways to entertain myself -- usually not too difficult obviously.

This is an official FRIEND REQUEST :<0). Um do you treat all your friends the same ?

I have 5 going right now. All ducks, Bresnick handforged ,Spec.No.1, Satin,Golden,Wonder edges. I have 4 more I am cleaning up and getting ready to try out. Satin wedge, Dwarf, another Golden and an 8 ball that has ducks on it but ???? I got 6 others but just to try and may not get along with the ducks in the same pond. Yep I'm a little daffy.

Well considering I don't collect razors like some people on SRP, I will say I don't do this all the time. It was a close friend who likes hollow grinds. I found out I am a fan of the heavier grinds. Either way a friend's a friend.

Shaving with facial hair is like a golfcourse. It's a challenge of rough and fairways. You are the skilled greenskeeper of your face?

I moved away from all my old friends but they will always be like you say. I started this with no intention of collecting. Then I thought I needed at least a weeks worth. Then I thought I needed them all for a short while. My end goal is to be able to make one of my own. And know enough to help others that want to try it.
