Thread: How many razors in your rotation?

I am curious as to how many razors do most folks have in their rotation. I know that there are extremes, but just wanted to know what the average might be.

I've got around 14 plus some DE's.

About 20, I guess. It is constantly changing,

I have a little of everything. Old wedges, extreme hollow grinds, Japanese straights. I enjoy shaving with them all and can't pick a favorite, either single razor or favorite type of razor.

About 30 razors and a very mixed bag it is including 2 DEs, 1 SE and a Rolls razor.

I keep a constant 14. I have two of Joe Behar's 7 day boxes. They're always full. If a new razor comes in, then an old one has to go out.

About 35 ready to go at a moments notice, plus a couple DE

8 right now. Im still fairly new but the razor collection grows on. Hollow ground, quarter hollow, wedges. I've sold a few, most I keep and they get added to the rotation. Im not sure when I'll allow the rotation to stop growing. Maybe when I start getting doubles and triples of the same kind.

6 right now with one on the way. I'm going to try to stop there but no promises!

I have 12 straights, at this time I use 4 of them regularly, 7/8 Torrey 258, 7/8 Friodur, 5/8 Friodur, 6/8 Blue Steel Expert Barber. I also use 4 DE razors regularly, usually for cleanup after the straight, Merkur 34G, Merkur 37C, Merkur Vision, and a Gillette Slim.

4. a dovo best quality 5/8. a genco fluid steel 5/8. a ontario 6/8. and a gold dollar 6/8. my genco bieng my favorite.
