[QUOTE=MikeB52;1618970]Couple of blades from Japan that I hope to be able to clean up proper.

Nice, any simple answer why so many straights are coming out of Japan & on Ebay?
US servicemen left overs? I am too young to remember WWII. Pearl Harbor then Hiroshima , war over. How did all these straights end up and an Island in the Pacific?

A 22mm Silvertip brush from Whipped Dog, some AoS Sandalwood balm, and a 24mm Finest knot from Vigshaving, which was an impulse buy but cost less than many tubs of soap lol.

I ordered a Carson 60x-120x pocket microscope that will be delivered today. Hopefully I will have some time tonight to try it out.

I have a custom 24mm Silvertip finest badger on its way from a local woodworker .
The top part is African Blackwood and the bottom part is Wild Olive.
I'm not too sure of the origins of the knot but I can say with certainty that it's not a Shavemac.
