    I really like the scales on the Revisor cuda, looks like old school celluloid.

    Thanks, now if only someone can find a way to replicate those beautiful Cracked Ice DD scales. Doubt it'll ever happen though

    now if only a distant uncle or aunt could leave me a fortune I could buy them out and then enslave them and force them to re-create those cracked ice scales.

    The Rubberset #3 Aluminum handled brush with a new hairdo, a spectacular Shavemac knot, "silvertip two band knot, 24 mm dia x 52mm loft exactly"...great work and thanks Mike!!

    Third shave with this Shavemac knot in the Rubberset #3 handle and it's never leaving my bathroom.

    My first bulb knot, this Shavemac knot has good scritch, firm on the face, still not as scritchy as the M&F brush, but a stellar brush, it now sits with two other badgers and a boar, in it's own MikeB52 handmade stand.

    Great job again Mike - really pleased with this brush, pleasure to use and made for a great evening shave.

    Pleasure was all mine on that one Andrew. Glad you like that knot in there as much as a fan tip. Supposedly the bulbs better for lathering in a skuttle than a fan tip, although I know not why, just read it somewhere.
    Tested Tom's out last night with the French point you gave me. Terrific shave and blade temper on that one and I appreciate it a lot. Best French maker I own now actually IMO. Better than the Le Dandy Ti I have..
    Happy shaves!

    [QUOTE=cudarunner;1622074]A little background before I show what landed today from the mailman.

    I first learned of a product called Inlace Acrylester when walleyeyman made my custom brush for me. While in 'stock' looks, it's not impressive but take a look at the example at the website and a finished product.

    From the online catalogue;
