    Actually, tetanus comes from a earth bacterium, so unsoiled (even rusted) metal is safe, but it will deserve a deeep cleaning anyway !

    I think the pipe is made of copper, but I can't be sure, and even copper can be toxic if the tinning is damaged. (The dolphin looking tap is made of brass)

    I think I'll use it one or two times a year, for show or special event, but I won't use it as a daily coffee-maker.

    My Cona coffee-maker perfectly fits my needs, and is way easier to clean ^^

    Wow - what's the Brit, nice looking Sheffield blade...is that a Rattler grind and what are it's measurements - that's a real beauty!
