Will do. I planned on only using the palm method on the TM strop, as Tony himself recommends.

I thought i could adjust the draw on the cheaper Fromm strop with the oil as i start using it to see what feels comfortable.

    Ill hold off.

I am waiting on delivery of a Tosuke England Steel Kamisori. It looks as if its not seen much use, but
I'll have a better idea when it gets here.
I have set myself the challenge of mastering the kamisori
    this year.
So time will tell if I succeed.
    Cheers Paul

Wow, talk about service from SRD! I ordered Tuesday night and the mailman delivered it this morning. The box was a little crumpled from the idiot stuffing it in my rural mailbox but thanks to SRD's good packing nothing was damaged. The Boker Silver steel is absolutely beautiful. The Semogue boar's bristle is good and stiff which should be perfect for even my most obnoxious cakes of soap. I can't wait until tomorrow to test them both out for my Sunday morning Church shave. Thanks Lynn, you are a champ.

Great service indeed. I'm always buying stuff from there with trust that I'm buying right.

Ordered a Chosera 1k and a bottle of renaissance wax from Phil @ Classic Edge.
From all I read, it's the "better bevel setter" Will keep my king for the kitchen cutlery. Although all this chat about mdc has me tempted.. Ultrasound, how's it compare to the SV 70th? I have that one and love it.

Let me know about that green brick. Looks messy!

Folks say good things. Some have told me to keep using my Naniwa 1k blue.
I wonder if you don't hone for a living, is it worth it?
Annnd, Johnathan has sent me a generous slice of the SV 70th!

    SOTD tomorrow!
