Whether it is a rare collectable or a counterfeit is still up for debate (apparently even J.A. Henckels isn't sure).

Whatever it may be, it is:

    UNIQUE
Shave ready (I'll see about that when I get it),
    Vintage in good condition,
Apparently has it's original scales (also has an "orphan twin"),
    Cost $55
    Free delivery.

I'd say I got anything from a "good deal" to a "Treasure".
Whatever it may be, In my opinion it is a collectable.

I've already contacted Henckels to find out when it was manufactured.

I saw that one. It has one man (twin) on the blade & scales instead of two like it says above.

Just got my strop in from Lynn..."The Natural". Going from the newspaper to the leather I diffinently understand "draw" better know.
I looked at the blade post shave under like 80X then again after stooping it; 20 on paper and 50 on leather. I do believe I saw the blade "clean" up vs damaging it. I'm not setting any speed records with the stooping, but then again I shouldn't be at this point.

Still having trouble with the upper lip/chin area, but that should come with experience. WG and XG work pretty good, but again my lack of experience has my AG a pretty ugly beast.

Ah well, just need to get up in the morning and get back at it.

    Cheer, Jer
    Keep it safe and Cheers,
    Jer

I think Bruno was light headed when he posted this last night in the Classifieds for the price he did. So I pounced.

He said I was the first PM, so I imagine there where a few guys after it while Bruno was asleep in Belgium (major time difference), which doesn't surprise me in the least.

Had to make a deal with my wife though. As I've said, I'm on a strict no razor buying stint right now. I'm moving, and need to keep things under control until we settle in. Management says I have to move 5 razors to accommodate for this one....... I said, no problem!!

Very sweet Andrew, there s something about the o2 he sees that really shaves soft. Glen once said it felt like sheffield steel on the hones. I know I love all mine, should use more f them but I have one that's just too nice on the face.

John, I know when I,m up,in the middle of the night with a craving, I like to have a light on my cotton candy dispenser too! Tc
