Again it was not expensive so I don't think I can lose but in the bottom left that looks like a big ark, maybe a trans. If it is a trans that one stone is likely worth more than 4 times what I paid for the whole lot

    Update to previous post:
I don't want to gloat but....oh who am I kidding? Of course I want to gloat. The white stone in question in the bottom left corner is in fact a trans.

Hard to see in the picture but the remnants of the stamp are still on the side.

It's not quite as big as I thought it was at first. That boxed stone right next to it looked bigger in the picture. I thought it was a 3" X 8" but it turned out to be this cute little guy.

The ark turns out to be 2" X 4" X 3/4" but still a nice find. The rest are mostly crystolon/carborundum and machinist deburring stones, mostly in good to like new or new and one small india stone but......I don't even care. Those can all go in the garbage almost. The trans I was after is worth not 4 but 5 times what I paid for the lot. I'm just stoked that my gut was right about it. It's nice to win now and then.

Congratulations. You had some good karma working for you with that find.

Really like Sartorial too; beeswax, honey and leather, quite intoxicating!

    Your settin bevels now.!

    Nice set, Steve.

    I've got the 1, 5, 8, 12. Specialty stones. 1K Chosera, and 8k snow white.

All good hones, I just don't use them, cept the Chosera.

I would of sold them to ya, but I still play with them every so often, and occasionally get asked for a synthetic progression.

The artist I sent you was originally done on a synthetic progression, then later I took it to the Esher.

I figure you've already dulled a blade, so you can play....eh!?

No, Mike, the razors you sent have never even needed refreshing cause I only use them every 2 weeks, their sharp as the day you sent them, I must have got the hang of stropping too eh.

I use a razor that PaulFLUS sent me to play with, a kinfolks and a couple of razors i got from the bay. I also have a Theirs Issard that I just bought, The guy that sold it to me shaved only a couple of times, and tried to hone it. I'll set the bevel and progress to 12K then test it.

That Artist has the nicest edge i have ever felt, I get excited when i see it's the next in line. I just wish all my razors could feel like that.

    Default C.H. Ina Company

This is not razor related by any means.

My good friend 'Ski' asked me to order something for him as he was having trouble doing so. I clicked on the link and those were nice looking portable lawn chairs but I'd never seen the features these had. Check it out--

Well their supposedly 'Fast Shipping' wasn't so fast. I ordered and paid for them via PayPal on April 21st and 'THE CHAIRS' landed today. That's 35 days since they were ordered and they landed at Ski's place while I was there today.

Let's just say that when I got home I immediately filed a complaint with PayPal as this is what he received/Actually he'd ordered TWO CHAIRS and got two of whatever the hell these things are supposed to be.

I was tracking the package and was surprised to see that USPS would be delivering them but the used rear quarter glass that my neighbor bought to replace the one his wife wiped out with a pebble thrown by their lawn mower was delivered by USPS so I thought OK.
