Welsh Slate

Left - Dragons Tongue
Middle - Llyn Melynllyn
Right - a Hard Arkansas

All 3 of these were sent to me as a very generous gift for the cost of shipping by thp001.

Had this nice Hard Ark from Dan's. Good deal since it was in their specials section. 11.5 x 2.5 x 0.5".

Nice sized black too thp001. Hope it's a good one. Blacks when they're good are really good. Black finished edges are probably my favorite edge of all...this week at least.

Good luck on the stones men. It's always fun learning a new rock.

And a big ol' softie to go with the Hard Ark. 12 x 2 x 1. Was using 6 and 8 inch Arks for the longest time but these bigger stones are just much more productive feeling. Relegating my old stones for tool use.

It came with a worn out brush and an "ox horn lathering bowl" which looks like it could actually be tortoise shell... maybe???

That bowl looks like horn. I found a picture of a fancy one on the net.
